GDUFS Renewed the Cooperation Agreement with the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange

On May 6th, the 2016 China Study Abroad Forum was held in the Landmark Convention Center, Beijing. At this forum, GDUFS renewed the cooperation agreement with the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange on the construction of a studying abroad training center. CHEN Linhan, Vice President of GDUFS, and CHE Weimin, Vice Director of the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange attended the forum and signed the agreement.

At the signing ceremony, CHE Weimin said that the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange has the same goal and purpose with GDUFS in strengthening and standardizing the training for studying abroad. He sincerely hoped that the two parties can bring their own advantages into full play, constantly enhancing the partnership of cooperation and jointly advancing the development of self-paying study abroad programs.

CHEN Linhan praised the high quality services provided by the Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange and introduced the basic situation of the training for studying abroad at GDUFS. He stressed that the renewal agreement will help improve the services provided by the training center for students studying abroad and promote the professional level of the center for training international talent.

In addition, Wei Huiliang, Vice Dean of the International College of GDUFS made a speech at the sub-forum on behalf of GDUFS. He reviewed the achievements the International College of GDUFS has made during its 12-year development and also put forward some measures to regulate and improve the quality of studying abroad services under the new situation.

ZHONG Weijun, Party Secretary of the International College, and YANG Wenhui, Vice Director of the Center for Foreign Languages Training, also attended the forum.

General Introduction of the Study Abroad Training Center of GDUFS & CSCSE

The Study Abroad Training Center of GDUFS & CSCSE was officially launched on May 18th, 2007. The goal of this center is to help the Ministry of Education regulate the studying abroad market. Based on the superior teaching resources and a large number of excellent foreign teachers of GDUFS, this center is devoted to providing high-quality and multidimensional services for students who want to study abroad. The Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange focuses on providing policy guidance and relevant services while GDUFS concentrates on recruiting students and teaching management.
