On April 11th, AlexandraHughes, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of University of Westminster, with four other delegates visited GDUFS and talked about cooperation. President ZHONG Weihe met with the guests inthe VIP Hall of theAdministration Building.

President ZHONG Weihe extended a warm welcome to Professor Alexandra Hughes and the other delegates. He recalled the 20 years of cooperation between the two universities. A number of cooperation agreements were signed, including the “2+2”and “3+1”programs, which have provided abundant opportunities for students to study abroad. In addition, he gavea brief introduction of GDUFS. President ZHONG expressed his hope that GDUFS canwidenand deepen thecooperation with University of Westminster.
Vice-Chancellor Alexandra Hughes said she was pleased to be invited by GDUFS. She appreciated GDUFS for its achievements in business subjects and multiple languages. She indicated that the University of Westminster encouraged students to “see the world”and to enrich their experience, and so the cooperationwith GDUFSis important. She also hoped to foster informational and technological communication between the two universities.

Attendees from GDUFS were: Prof. CAI Hong, Director of International Office; Prof. WEI Huiliang, Vice Dean of International School; Mr. YI Zongyong, Deputy Director of International Office; Ms. LIANG Jie, Vice Dean of Business School.
