GDUFS First Sent International Students to Canton Fair for Internship

For the 118th Canton Fair, GDUFS sent four international students to do internships. On October 27th, Vice President LIU Jianda, JIAO Fangtai, SU Yi, YANG Youxiao, ZHAO Ye, YAO Haiyang, WEI Zhangjin, WEI Chuanwen and others went to the Canton Fair to convey greetings to the interns. In addition, they also negotiated the cooperation with MA Chunzhi from China Foreign Trade Centre, LIU Shuandong from Canton Fair, ZHU Lv from Customer Service Center, PU Huichuan from International Liaison Departmentand DENG Lizhou from Human Resource Department.

LIU Jianda suggested that the international students sent by GDUFS were mainly from central Asia. Not only did it meet the needs of the customers for translation works, but also conformed to the development goals of national construction. Finally, he expressed his gratitude to the China Foreign Trade Centre and the Canton Fair, and indicated that he will continue to lead students of GDUFS to provide better services for the Canton Fair.

MA Chunzhi highly praised the attitude and spirits presented by the students of GDUFS in their internships. Besides, he commended the four international students for their attempt to take part in the internships of Canton Fair. On the one hand, it could deepen their understandings of the Chinese economy and culture and provide a platform for them to communicate. On the other hand, their experience of introducing Canton Fair to more people had a great impact on the development of Canton Fair. And they hoped GDUFS could provide more opportunities for international students to do their internships at Canton Fair. Besides, MA Chunzhi expressed his wishes for deeper cooperation in terms of internships, employment and scientific research.
