2015 Winter Study Camp of CHOSUN UNIVERSITY Begins at GDUFS

On January 6th, Professor Lee Sang Woo of Korea’s CHOSUN University, with 27 students, came to the Institute for International Education of GDUFS to participate in a month-long winter study camp. The opening ceremony was held at room 212 of teaching building 7. LIANG Xuehong and QUAN Yonggen, Dean of the Institute for International Education and Vice-President of the Faculty of Asian Languages and Cultures, attended the ceremony.

LIANG presented a great welcome to the delegates of CHONSUN UNIVERSITY. He gave them an overall introduction to GDUFS including the recent exchange projects of the Institute to them. Too, he briefly introduced Guangdong province and Guangzhou. He encouraged students from Korea to visit more places to know China comprehensively.

Lee Sang Woo expressed gratitude for the warm welcome. He said this was the second time he had led students to GDUFS and looked forward to further interchanges between the two universities and teachers.

Quan Yonggen looked back to his study experience in CHONSUN UNIVERSITY and the history of the cooperation of GDUFS between Korean colleges. He wished all Korean students could make progress and gain from studying here. Lee Jae-yong, the student representative of CHONSUN UNIVERSITY, said they were very glad to attend this winter camp and were looking forward to tasting Chinese delicious food and knowing Chinese culture.
