Three New Majors to Be Available at GDUFS

Recently, the Chinese Education Department has released the document entitled Undergraduate Major Draft in 2014, which approves three new majors - Malay language, Urdo language and New Media(plans)- all applied for by GDUFS last year.

As is known, undergraduate majors of GDUFS have totaled 64 to-date; covering literature, economics, management, science of law, engineering, natural sciences, education science and art. For the past years, GDUFS has been improving the structure of undergraduate majors, advancing the quality of education as well as developing some greatly important foreign language majors. Therefore, up to now, 20 different majors related to language education have been available for GDUFS undergraduates，which makes GDUFS itself famous as a university with the most foreign language majors in southeastern China.

In the immediate future, GDUFS is going to maintain the current scale of language education and put emphasis on improving the structure and quality of education.
