The Seminar on Policies of Public Management between GDUFS and the Indonesian Academic delegates

Apr. 3th^- An international seminar on "Policies of Public Management" was successfully held on the GDUFS' south campus on the afternoon of Mar. 26^th. The President of Pasundan University , along with other academic delegates, discussed the issues of public management with teachers and students from the School of Politics and Public Administration at GDUFS.

At the seminar

First, the President of Pasundan University gave a speech, and then the Director of the Doctoral Pogramme on Social Sciences introduced the basics about public management in Indonesia. He also pointed out that public management is one of the academic strengths of Pasundan University.

Those who gave a speech at the seminar from Pasundan University were Dr. H. Soleh Suryadi, Professor H. Mukarto Siswoyo or Hamirul, and Dr.Ir. Marwini. Speakers from GDUFS included Professor Wu Xianqing, Professor Shao Renwei,  and Professor Liu Yurong. The topics included the public management of ancient China, the electoral system in Indonesia, and the credibility of the govement.

Professor Wu Xianqing's speech aroused great interest among the Indonsian delegates and they wanted to know more about the ideologies of ancient China. During the question-and-answer sessions, the Indonesian delegates raised some questions about the principles of "harmony in diversity", systems for view expression and so on. The atmosphere was very lively.
