The President of University of Central Lancashire Visited GDUFS

Mar. 18th-- On Mar. 12th, Malcolm Macvicar, the president of University of Central Lancashire, paid a visit to GDUFS, along with Graham Baldwin, the executive vice president and other school staff. GDUFS President Zhong Weihe and other leaders conducted a friendly meeting with the guests at the Administration Building on the north campus.

 

At the beginning of the meeting, President Zhong extended a warm welcome to the guests and reviewed the long-standing relationship between University of Central Lancashire and GDUFS. Also, President Zhong expressed his sincere gratitude to Mr. Macvicar and his school for their great support in building GDUFS into an international high standard university.

In response, Mr. Macvicar conveyed his thanks for the warm reception from our university. He pointed out that the cooperation between University of Central Lancashire and GDUFS has a long history, and so far, the bilateral cooperation has been expanded into many areas. Moreover, he was looking to promoting the exchange and cooperation between two sides to a new level.

 

After the meeting, President Zhong presented Mr. Macvicar fine porcelain with the beautiful view of the South campus to thank him for long term and vigorous contributions to promoting the friendly corporative relationship between two universities.

In addition, it is reported that Mr. Macvicar exchanged in-depth views with School of English for International Business and International College of GDUFS on student exchanges, student services and ' 2+2' project.
