New President of University of Bedfordshire Visited GDUFS

Nov. 17th-The New President of the University of Bedfordshire, Britain, Bill Rammell visited GDUFS along with Harry Wang, Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs and other school staff.. President Zhong Weihe extended a warm welcome to the guests.
It is reported that GDUFS was the first stop for the delegation from the University of Bedfordshire in China after the appointment of President Rammell. This past May, President Zhong visited Bedfordshire and signed an agreement for a ' 3+1' Double Degrees Project.
During the meeting, President Zhong briefly introduced GDUFS and showed the guests our school's strategy of education internationalization. He also attached importance to '310' Project, which would enable 10% of all students to have the opportunity to go abroad as an exchange student. Then, President Zhong shared his hopes to engage in further cooperation with the University of Bedfordshire.

President Rammell expressed his thanks for GDUFS's warm welcome. He mentioned that it was his first visit to GDUFS and he was impressed by its lovely environment. President Rammel also pointed out that the cooperation between the two universities had been exceptionally fruitful over the past few years and he was looking forward to deeper and more comprehensive cooperation with GDUFS in the future.
After the meeting, the two presidents exchanged souvenirs.
