2013 TESOL Annual Conference to Be Held in GDUFS

July 24^th--On July 23rd, the President of TESOL International Association Dr. Suzanne Panferov visited GDUFS where she was received by Vice CCP Secretary Chen Jianpin and other school officials. It is reported that the 2013 TESOL Annual Conference will be held at GDUFS next year. In the talk with Suzanne, Chen first introduced what GDUFS has achieved in linguistic studies and English teaching by citing examples of high employment rates and successful promotion of advanced teaching approaches. Suzanne expressed her satisfaction with the academic competence as well as the comprehensive teaching facilities of GDUFS. She promised to give her support and said she strongly believes that GDUFS will host the 2013 TESOL Annual Conference successfully. At the end of the meeting, Chen extended thanks to Suzanne for her support and promised to seize the opportunity to promote further communication between Chinese and overseas English teachers.
