 The letter of thanks

The main contents of the letter are as follows:

In the name of Italian government and also myself, I extend heartfelt thanks to all teachers and students of the Italian department of GDUFS, for the material assistance you provided to Italy during this difficult time. It’s a tough time for Italy, and it’s a great consolation that we could get the help from Chinese friends.

Your donation of masks to Pavia University, University of macherata, Naples Oriental University, Kramonamanen Language High School and Clemaluca Paccioli High School has meant a lot in our fight against the epidemic. The donation activity that teachers and students organized independently is an important witness to the cultural and academic exchanges between China and Italy. In this difficult moment, cultural exchange and solidarity are the most important, which can help us to overcome any difficulties.

We believe that, under the strict control of the Italian government and with your support and help, Italy will certainly pull through soon. At the same time, we sincerely hope that both China and Italy can resume classes as soon as possible, because it means that the epidemic is getting better. Also, we hope to resume our cooperation with GDUFS as soon as possible, such as co-hosting this year’s International Italy Week.

Best wishes! May you and your colleagues have both good health and success in your work!
