Introduction

Course Introduction:
Principles of Management is a 54-hour core course for all students in school of English for international business, with its aims to introduce the basic principles of management, facilitating students to understand development of management thinking, basic four functions of management, opportunities and challenges of managing in contemporary organizations.
Human Resource Management is a 54-hour core course for students of international business, with its aims to introduce the basic principles and application of managing human resources. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to demonstrate 1) comprehensive knowledge of the basic theory of HRM 2) an ability to critically assess HRM frameworks and models 3) an ability to understand analysis of HR practice in a variety of organizations and contexts 4) a general knowledge of how to apply and adopt the theories and principles in firms with Chinese cultural contexts.
Requirements:
· Doctor/Master in Management from a leading overseas’ institute.
· At least two or three-year teaching experiences or equivalent working experiences in University.
· To teach in fluent English.
· To identify the concepts and theory of Management and Human Resource Management.
· To be familiar with latest management topics.
· To be familiar with policies, laws and cultures integrated into organizational management
· To analyze global management issues.
