On July 14th, the 2023 Asia Summer Program hosted by Bangkok University in Thailand came to an end, and the closing ceremony was held both online and offline. Jiao Fangtai, Vice President of GDUFS, attended the closing ceremony online and delivered a speech.

On behalf of the Asian University Presidents Forum (AUPF) Secretariat, Jiao Fangtai congratulated the success of the Asian University Summer Program and expressed his sincere thanks to the sponsor, Bangkok University. He pointed out that the AUPF has been held for 20 sessions so far, and has achieved fruitful results in promoting reform, strengthening management, training talents, and constructing discipline. As a sub-project of the AUPF, the Asian University Summer Program has been held for the eleventh time since it was first held in 2012, making outstanding contributions to the cultivation of innovative talents in Asia.

Jiao Fangtai said that in the information age, there are new requirements for higher education. He called for all member universities of the AUPF to work together and seek common development so that the AUPF can play a greater role in talent cultivation and international exchanges, thus promoting Asia’s education industry into a new stage of high-quality development.
