GDUFS Delegation Attended Joint Conference of Confucius Institutes in UAE

North Campus, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, May 5^th, 2019: From April 26^th to 29^th, SUI Guangjun, Party Secretary of GDUFS, attended the Joint Conference of Confucius Institutes in Arab Countries in UAE with his delegation and spoke during the roundtable of presidents. They also visited the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in UAE and the University of Sharjah.

SUI Guangjun met with YU Yunfeng, Deputy Director-General of the Confucius Institute Headquarters

On April 27^th the delegation visited Guangdong Chamber of Commerce in UAE and the University of Sharjah and reached agreements with relevant parties in matters including cultural exchanges and cooperation, and the construction of practice bases for students under the framework of “The Belt and Road”. On 28^th, the delegation attended the Joint Conference of Confucius Institutes in Arab Countries. During the roundtable of presidents, SUI introduced the construction, specific working methods and details, and further plans for the six Confucius Institutes of GDUFS.

KE Xiaohua, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and the Office of Confucius Institutes of GDUFS; YANG Shaogang, Chinese Dean of the Confucius Class of Ain Shams University, and relevant persons of the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture and the Faculty of Asian and African Studies (under preparation) of GDUFS also attended the meeting.
