Three Itineraries for National Day holidays — Day 1

What are you going to do with holidays? Study? Stay in dorms and play computer games? Come on! Live a little! It’s high time that gave yourself a chance to get a deeper understanding of Guangzhou. Now follow our itinerary and build the connection with Guangzhou – the “City of Goats” – on your own.

Here comes the first station – Guangdong Museum – where people can get an overall understanding of not only Guangzhou but some of the other cities in Guangdong province.

First thing first, taking subway Line 3 or 5 and getting off at Zhujiang New Town Station is the way highly recommended to Guangdong Museum.

When arriving at the museum, use your passport to get a free ticket. During the National Day holidays, there is an exhibition about Titanic on display that charges a fee. Go to this exhibition and imagine yourself as a passenger boarding the Titanic! Furthermore, you can enjoy both natural resources and historical culture of Guangdong Province on the 4th floor. The next station is Guangzhou Library which is near to Guangdong Museum and people just need to walk there. Here you can swim in the sea of books and buy yourself a chance to have a rest during this colorful journey. It’s an advanced library. For example, if you want to find a book to read, just use the computers provided there or your personal computer and input the name of the book that you’re looking for on the official website of  the Guangzhou Library and you will get the precise location of the book you want.

What if you feel hungry? Are there any good restaurants nearby? Certainly, there is a big mall right under feet and it’s called Mall of the World. You will have a variety of choices down there like Chinese food, Japanese food and Thai food. Also, you can go shopping in the mall, and the rich supply of different commodities will absolutely dazzle you.

When night falls, do not think about going back to home immediately. At least not before you have enjoyed the gorgeous night scene of Zhujiang Flower City. It’s a great opportunity to see Canton Tower from a new sight that differs from the daytime.
