UCLan – GDUFS Discuss Further Cooperation

North Campus, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, March 27th 2018: Vice President Tim Steele, from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) in Britain, visited GDUFS with his delegation on March 27th 2018. CHEN Linhan, Vice President of GDUFS, met with the guests in the VIP Hall. The two parties stated the desire to strengthen the cooperation of existing projects, while seeking new cooperative opportunities in order to deepen the cooperation between the two universities.

 

Talks between the two sides

 

CHEN Linhan warmly welcomed the visit of the delegation and reviewed the exchanges and cooperation between the two parties, hoping there would be a wider and stronger platform for cooperation in the future. Tim Steele conveyed the same expectation, and said that this time, he personally led the delegation to GDUFS again for the cooperative projects.

 

The two sides negotiated several issues, such as student enrollment and curriculum design of the UCLan Project in the International College. CAI Hong, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange; YI Zongyong, Deputy Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and LIU Ming, Vice Dean of the International College, also attended the meeting.
