LUO Xuanmin explained his novel ideas of transfictions

Held in Vienna in 2011, Tel Aviv in 2013 and Montreal in 2015, the conference finally came to Guangzhou. During the speech, Prof. LUO Xuanmin emphasized the relationship between writing and translating, and subsequently came up with a brave and open translation style taking the examples of HU Shi and CHEN Duxiu, who were both masters of translation and literature in modern China. Speaking of the word “transfiction”, he thought highly of the development of the relationship between writers and translators, concluding the main idea of the conference with his appealing speech.
